Corner or Colombo & Hereford Streets, Christchurch

TSB Bank House. This major works to a central city landmark building just outside Cathedral Square was undertaken for the TSB Bank. Work incorporated earthquake strengthening from the basement up through the three levels above ground to bring it up to the current Building Code requirements. The location on one of the busiest central intersections in the city meant careful logistical planning for people and vehicle movements.

The fitout of the ground floor for the Bank’s key retail presence in Christchurch required finishing work to the highest standard and the ability to work with the larger than normal tolerances due to the building’s age and resultant movement over time.
