Edgeware Supervalue, 61 Edgeware Road, Christchurch
On the site of one of Christchurch’s early cinema’s that later became a popular local community supermarket, the Edgeware Supervalue is now a brand new supermarket to replace the earthquake damaged building that stood there before. Opened in 2012 by MP Gerry Brownlee and Mayor Bob Parker, this is one of the first rebuilt supermarkets after the earthquakes.
